 Boudoir  (pronounced boo-dwah) is french for “a lady’s sitting room normally next to her bedroom where she entertained privately”.  Boudoir photography is the art of taking photos of a woman as she would look in the privacy of her bedroom. She is usually wearing or nothing.  It is by no means R rated . . .more like PG-17 rated. The woman’s body is portrayed in a tasteful way that merely IMPLIES that she may be .  Some women may prefer to wear the entire shoot.  The goal is to capture the woman at her most sexy, and is usually given as a gift to her special someone.  More and more women are doing one of these shoots just to preserve their beauty.  Remember the Sex in the City episode when Samantha posed just so she could look back years from now and remember how hot she was?  You don’t have to pose , but you get the idea.  Whatever the reason, a boudoir shoot will certainly be fun and boost your self-confidence, whether you need it or not!  We guarantee it!

As soon as you decide on the day and time we will have a phone or email consultation to discuss boudoir photography ideas regarding the theme and mood you're after Lawrence will make suggestions based on yours and your man's interests to make your boudoir session as personal and individual as possible give you a list of the most popular outfits that you may what to bring with.  

 You will have a 2-4 hour time slot so you can walk in, relax, and have fun. Making sure there is enough time for hair and makeup, and then have fun without ever feeling rushed. When you walk in the door, each session begins with our makeover services from a professional hair and makeup artist. Our stylist will help quell those last minute jitters and help you make final decisions regarding accessories and outfits. We guide you every step of the way putting you in poses and positions that are flattering and sexy no matter your body type. Lawrence recommends shooting in 5 and up to 12 outfits so you have a verity to pick from for your retouched portraits.
