Janet ‘Sue’ Ingram Watkins | News, Sports, Jobs


Janet “Prosecute” Ingram Watkins, 57, from East Liverpool, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Youngstown, due to complications with COVID-19.

Born January 13, 1964 in East Liverpool, she is the daughter of Elsie Boswell Ingram (Mike Sprage) of East Liverpool and the late Donald Sherwood Ingram. Sue was also predeceased by her nephew, Scott Ingram, and her niece, Tonya Ingram.

Sue graduated from the East Liverpool High School class in 1982. She continued her education at the Clark Gilbert and Silurezorn School of Cosmetology and was currently employed in Dr Bartels’ office where she worked as a phlebotomist.

Sue attended Destiny House Church in Calcutta; she was very involved in the community and enjoyed all of its amenities and activities. Sue organized the Facebook group, “Prayer chain around the world” and “EL Photos, videos and conversations”. She owned and operated the former Sky-High Photography and was proud to be a member of the East Liverpool Community Partnership for Revitalization. The many friendships she made there have prolonged her “family” endless and filled his last years with precious memories and happiness.

Sue was the backbone of her family and held them together, you could always count on her to throw a celebration and cook a great home cooked meal.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Sean Watkins; daughter, Mitzi Stoddard; son, Justin Watkins; grandson, whom she adored and was the love of her life, Corey Sparks, grandson, Michael Boyle; siblings, Don, Steve, Scott, Braidy (Vickie), Roger (Lacie), Kurt, Kandi and Clay (Jeanna) Ingram. She will also be sadly missed by her furry babies, Ghost, Cura, Spirit, Ra and Bambi. Her precious fur baby “Minnie Pearl” couldn’t face this world without Sue, and she passed away the same day.

Pastor Dirk Hall will celebrate Sue’s life on Monday June 14, 2021 at noon at Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. Visits will take place on Sunday June 13, 2021 from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. and Monday June 14 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
