Williams, who joined Crestline in 2012 as Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager, is a Managing Partner of Crestline and a member of the company’s management committee.
As Co-CIO of Crestline, Williams will help guide company wide policies and strategies for all investments. In addition, he will continue as Managing Partner of the Company, where he oversees Crestline’s credit strategies.

Williams became a partner of Crestline in 2016. He joined Crestline after working at McKinsey & Co., where he was a senior member of McKinsey’s Recovery & Transformation Practice. Prior to that, he was a senior member of the Special Situations Group at Goldman Sachs, where he developed and implemented distressed liquid and illiquid investment strategies and was responsible for researching and executing trades for the strategies of private debt.
Williams holds a BBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from Rice University.
