Arjun Kapoor has long shared a good relationship with the paparazzi, often greeting them and even letting them know when they are not behaving correctly.
In a new interview, Arjun said he understands that photographers are also trying to make a living. He poses for them whenever he can and also lets them know when they don’t respect other people’s boundaries.
âI appreciate that what they’re doing is trying to make a living. Whenever I can, I pose for them. It helps them sell the photos and get on with their day. They have learned over time to maintain boundaries, and they are respectful too. And now we have this equation. Today when I tell them, yaar aaj mat lo (don’t take pictures today), and if they take a picture and tomorrow we feel it’s from a ka look film, we can say no . Aisa nahi hai ki (It’s not like) they don’t understand. Once or twice when they don’t realize they’ve crossed the line I feel like a big brother or a friend I can tell them arre yaar you can’t do that. You can’t at 12 o’clock at night walk into someone’s house screaming. Other people will complain, naam humara kharab hoga (it will spoil our name). This is the only time that I react. They are also quite cold, âhe said in an interview with Zoom.

Arjun is dating Malaika Arora and went public with their relationship a few years ago. Arjun said it was because they realized that the media would be respectful of them. âWe came out because we believe the media gave us dignity. There is some understanding of the media … they’ve been respectful, kind, honest and decent about it. That’s why I felt comfortable. You step back when there is a certain “gandhagi” accompanying the territory. When people willfully annoy you by saying, writing or asking things … there was none of that, âhe said in an interview with Filmfare.
